ATTN Utah Shakes Alum

One of my ex-coworkers at Barter is going to Utah Shakes this May and needs some info on driving to and living in Utah. If you guys could give her some advice and tips, leave it here and I'll put it on her facebook. Thanks.

Things here are peachy.

Getting to Cedar City is actually really easy, it straddles the 15. Just know that if she's coming from the north, chances are that there will be snow through the mountains, so allow for time. As for living... I don't know how much things have changed since I was up there, but it's a pretty normal small town. There's a Wal-Mart, and more than one grocery store. More than one movie theater, even. Things might have changed, but according to where they put you up, it's either really nice, or kind of crappy, but traditionally the apartments at College Ave is the party spot. The campus is pretty beautiful. Get a library card, and don't let the women's hair scare her. Also, Vegas is only about two and a half hours south on the 15.

That's about all I can remember. Glad things are going well up there.
